Marketing CEO Sees Signs of Recession Waning as Transactions Increase

Market analyst says incentive, customer loyalty, employee recognition, and healthcare reward providers tend to see economic and operating trends before most businesses.

Right now, the trend is for spending and growth, the complete opposite of the business environment we saw last year.

Craig King, CEO of Incentive Logic, Inc., says that the company is seeing significant transaction volume increases from its existing clients, while consistent new business opportunities are arising. Providing a Reward Management System (RMS) approach, the organization offers both self-deployed as well as completely outsourced custom solutions. Its employee recognition program and incentive programs are being purchased by companies for employees, channel partners, sales staff, and customers at a much higher rate than just a year ago.

"Just a year ago, customers were withdrawing from the sector, reducing their redemptions, or looking for any opportunity they could find to eliminate or delay expenses," says King. "Right now, the trend is for spending and growth, the complete opposite of the business environment we saw last year."

King also notes that across virtually all industries, medium to large businesses are working to establish themselves with incentive management program partners. "Businesses reduce incentives and loyalty programs to save money, as had been the case, but currently appear to be seeking to acquire such services."

"Currently, interest in self-deployed products is generating the most business. This is much more so in our customer, white-box solutions for the Fortune 1000, indicating that these companies need to establish their RMS in advance of the coming economic rebound.
