New beach-themed décor website, CoastlineTreasures.com has an impressive catalog of accent pieces that reminds people to have fun in the sun all year long. Aside from the recent debut of the e-store, site founder, Brenda Seckar, has also started a new blog.

I've always loved home décor, but it was difficult to find accent pieces that were related to the beach or nautical themes

As the summer season looms around the corner, people are no doubt buying their swimsuits, great amounts of sunscreen and inflating their beach balls. The worst part about the summer, however, is the fleeting attachment that develops at the beginning of June to the very sad ending of it all in the fall. But no one ever said that the beach couldn't come home.

Thanks to entrepreneur Brenda Seckar, people can literally bring the aesthetic of the beach to their home or garden.

Seckar is the founder of http://www.CoastlineTreasures.com, a site that specializes in beach and nautical décor, an idea that was spawned by Seckar's own frustration to find such items.

"I've always loved home décor, but it was difficult to find accent pieces that were related to the beach or nautical themes," said Seckar. "I thought it would be nice for people who are seeking out these kinds of items as home or garden décor to have it on one website."

Launching Coastline Treasures in February 2009, Seckar got the jump on the summer season by debuting with a host of well made and beautiful products such as dolphin décor and lighthouse décor.

Though the site is new, Seckar has already been adding new products: "Two new items I'm adding is a dolphin wall clock and dolphin wind chimes."

In addition to having a well-rounded catalog, Coastline Treasures has its own blog of helpful decorating hints, http://www.CoastlineTreasuresInfo.com.

According to Seckar, she will post blogs about the placement of accent pieces and displays.

"I'd like to encourage people to changing their home either by painting or redoing their themes," said Seckar. "It allows people to be creative and control their atmosphere."

Seckar's love of decorating shows through her new site and blog. The site is constantly updated and her passion is just as apparent as the waters are wet.
