Metrics Marketing Group has hired Cathleen Zapata as Vice President, Research and Customer Experience.

Zapata joins the firm with more than 14 years experience in quantitative and qualitative market research, focusing specifically on research and usability for user interface design since 2002. Her background includes a wealth of experience in Web site usability, usability testing, surveys, heuristic evaluations and conversion enhancement strategies.

Zapata comes to Metrics Marketing from KeyBank where she led the online channel for Key Education Resources as VP, Web Business Leader. Prior to joining Key, she was responsible for building and leading the user research team for one of North America's largest interactive marketing firms, serving major national clients such as Citizens Bank, Nationwide Insurance, Alltel and others.

She is also an executive board member of The Web Association, serving the Northeast Ohio Internet professional community. She is a frequent lecturer and published author, including a quote in MarketingSherpa's Marketing Wisdom for 2006.
