Endeavor Telecom Releases New Version of Online Training Center to Further Enhance Training/Certification Program

Endeavor Telecom, The Telecom Truck Roll Company for carriers, service providers, VARs, and equipment manufacturers, today announced the release of a new and improved version of the company's online training tool, the Endeavor Training Center The upgraded applications now include enhanced multimedia capabilities, as well as more comprehensive testing and reporting functions.

The Training Center was implemented in order to facilitate the ongoing training and certification of Endeavor's team of 9,000 plus individually managed Field Engineers (FEs). The recent upgrades have allowed for more extensive usage of video-based components to be integrated in the online training modules. Now, for example, instead of a seeing a diagram in the training module that reviews NID splitter installations, FEs watch a video filmed by a member of Endeavor's Internal Engineering team, complete with an instructional voiceover.

As new technologies emerge and as Endeavor takes on more projects with specialized scopes of work or that involve specialty IP-enabled devices, new online courses will be added to the Training Center as a means of maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base for both technicians and staff members. Each training module, which focuses on a unique topic or installation/technology type, is followed be an Endeavor Certification Exam to validate comprehension and to certify training completion.

Staff members and FEs, each with their own unique log-in credentials, are subject to certain completion requirements as a part of ongoing training or as pre-requisite for a specific project or task. The courses available online range from introductory modules for new hires outlining Endeavor's customer service standards to more advanced tutorials such as the proper mounting and placement practices for IP enabled security cameras in restaurant settings. Examination results and other quality metrics are tracked by individual in order to certify the user's knowledge base and skill set rating.
