"This unique new series is a great addition to our programming line-up because it is a lifestyle show as well as an outdoor show," said Sun Sports Director of Programming Tim Ivy. "We think our viewers will enjoy it because it encompasses the whole state and shows people all there is to do in Florida."
The show is being produced by The Crawford Group, a Lake Mary-based media production company. Chad Crawford, the owner of the company and the show's creator, also stars in the program as its host.
"Beyond visiting theme parks or going to the beach, most newcomers or even native Floridians don't know truly how to 'do' Florida," said Crawford. "This show will teach our audience how to uncover those experiences, and we'll have a lot of fun doing it."
A companion website, www.howtodoflorida.com, contains additional video content and helpful links for those wanting more information on the topics and locations in the television show. Viewers can also suggest future stories for the program and follow a blog written by Crawford.
