Thomas J. Kent Jr. was the special guest of the Chinese Government. Special privileges were given to Mr. Kent to allow him to see the region and discuss creating a trade line.
(PRWEB) May 7, 2009 -- Thomas J. Kent, Jr., managing partner of FDP Capital, LLC. attended and was the special guest of the Chinese Government and the City of Sichuan Tengshan to discuss economic development of that region in China. FDP Capital, LLC. was one of only four investment banking firms from around the world that attended the conference.
Mr. Kent went to several sites in the region and had talks with many top government officials about how to bring capital into the region and how to create a trade line between the region and the rest of the world - specifically between Africa and the Carribbean. Mr. Kent is very interested in developing this region of China and creating a strong relationship to build a strong and prosperous local economy. Mr. Kent says that the United States must invest in the future of China because China's destiny is our destiny.
Mr. Kent has several diplomatic trips lined up in the next few months. The trips that are planned are government meetings with the Haitian Government and also meetings with African nation states. Mr. Kent is confident that strong relationships between Sichuan Tengshan and these regions have to be developed.
