An evolution is happening in the hospitality industry with the increasing convergence of the revenue management and Internet marketing fields. On June 25, 2009, hospitality professionals will gather at the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Revenue Management & Internet Marketing Strategy Conference in Anaheim, Calif. to discuss how these two disciplines are evolving.

An evolution is happening in the hospitality industry with the increasing convergence of the revenue management and Internet marketing fields. On June 25, 2009, hospitality professionals will gather at the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Revenue Management & Internet Marketing Strategy Conference in Anaheim, Calif. to discuss how these two disciplines are evolving.

The 2009 conference, co-located with the annual HITEC show, will focus on the latest trends happening in these two important sales and marketing disciplines and explore revenue optimization, pricing, ecommerce and Internet marketing topics in the context of today's challenging economic environment, through keynotes and 14 breakout sessions

Eric Pearson, senior vice president of distribution marketing for Intercontinental Hotels Group, will serve as the keynote speaker and present his views on the convergent of revenue management and internet marketing, and some of his own secrets for success. Bill Carroll, senior lecturer at Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, will emcee and moderate the conference and focus on uncovering the most relevant and applicable best practices, trends and ideas in the field.
