iCongo, Inc., a leading provider of e-commerce and cross-channel systems, today announced that Lecavalier Auto Parts has gone live with the world's first online retailer for recycled auto parts using iCongo's e-commerce platform. The million dollar collaborative effort is expected to provide consumers with savings up to 50% of the cost of new auto parts, a welcome savings in times of economic uncertainty.

iCongo's e-commerce platform equips Lecavalier with a full-featured, easy-to-manage, branded online storefront complete with order management and fulfillment for customers to easily place parts orders, obtain detailed and up-to-date product and order information and receive enhanced customer service--including the scheduling of parts installations through Lecavalier's certified shops and special tools for insurance companies, which are the largest consumers of recycled parts.

"Creating a storefront with more than 100,000 recycled auto parts comes with its own unique challenges," said Christian Ayotte, vice president of Professional Services for iCongo. "Each auto part has different mileage, specifications and warranties that have to be catalogued along with photos and descriptions for inclusion in the store."

"We continue to work closely with iCongo to provide our customers with the detailed product information they need to make an educated decision about purchasing recycled auto parts," said André Savard, co-owner of Lecavalier. "It is important for us to make sure that our online inventory is easy to navigate and that the purchasing and installation process for these items meets customer needs and expectations for quality and convenience."

Lecavalier's warranty-guaranteed recycled auto parts come from more than 12,000 vehicles purchased from major insurance companies and auction sales.
