Computer Parts Retailer Helps Families Take Advantage of Australian Government

Computer parts retailer Tekfix Computing Solutions unveiled today a marketing campaign aimed at taking advantage of the Australian government's recent economic stimulus packages. The campaign is aimed at both local and regional families that have children attending schools where computer parts and hardware access is limited.

Toowoomba, Australia (PRWEB) May 3, 2009 -- Computer Retailer Tekfix Computing Solutions, unveiled today a marketing campaign aimed at taking advantage of the Australian government's recent economic stimulus packages. The campaign is focused around three new computer systems specifically designed with the best computer parts to take advantage of the Australian government's education stimulus package, giving eligible families a rebate of up to 50% on the computer packages. "Education is becoming more and more computer based, it's only a matter of time until computers will be a necessity to the learning process," said Tekfix co-founder Tony Schirmer, "This is such a unique opportunity for families to get a hold of quality computer hardware now, without leaving them with a significant debt and in a way that helps out the Australian economy. I think everyone that is eligible to claim, should."

The fully customisable systems range from a very basic computer, right up to a semi-professional system for processor intensive programs such as AutoCAD and Photoshop, that are used in some courses of secondary education. Even the most basic system allows families to operate not only educational and word processing software, but allow the smooth running of even the most demanding internet applications. All the systems come standard as packaged with the future-ready, 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows Vista and a large range of quality computer parts.

The two 21-year-old entrepreneurs, Tony Schirmer and Rowan Volker are aiming the campaign at both local and regional families that have children attending schools where access to computer parts and hardware is limited. The campaign includes articles in school newsletters, as well as specifically chosen advertising through a range of different mediums, including the internet.

Families that are eligible for the rebate can receive up to 50% back on the computer systems they purchase before the 30th of June 2009. Eligible families are those that currently have children in primary or secondary school, and fulfil the criteria outlined on the Australian Government's website, educationtaxrefund.gov.au. Families who fulfil the requirements can claim any education expenses, including computers and printers. However, some other products available at Tekfix, including
computer parts, computer components and most computer accessories won't be applicable to the rebate.

The desktop computer systems will be available from today via Tekfix's online store, and are priced between $390.00 and $1849.00 after the government rebate for secondary school students.

For more information on the systems please contact Tekfix Computing Solutions at their website tekfix.com.au/desktop-computers.html or email Tony Schirmer directly at tonyschirmer(at)tekfix.com.au.
