Norwich Pharmaceuticals Showcases Expanded Range of Services at InterPhex 2009

The 30,000 attendees of InterPhex 2009 were formally introduced to the new services and capabilities of Norwich Pharmaceuticals at this year's conference and exhibition, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York from March 17th through March 19th.

Norwich, NY (PRWEB) May 4, 2009 -- The 30,000 attendees of InterPhex 2009 were formally introduced to the new services and capabilities of Norwich Pharmaceuticals at this year's conference and exhibition, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York from March 17th through March 19th.

Norwich Pharmaceuticals, an industry leader in contract manufacturing and packaging, used InterPhex 2009 to provide the pharmaceutical world with an in-depth look at the company's expanded range of services. In the past, Norwich focused its scope of services on manufacturing and packaging. It will now assist customers throughout the life cycle of a product, as well as help plan and launch new initiatives, from simple line extensions to explorations into new product categories.

"InterPhex was the perfect showcase for us," explained Chris Calhoun, president of Norwich Pharmaceuticals. "Over a thousand companies from around the world attend this conference to find solutions for every aspect of drug manufacturing, from process development through delivery to market. Prior to InterPhex, Norwich made public its large investment in meeting the growing industry demand for product development outsourcing services from formulation through post-marketing. According to Calhoun, "We've acquired some of the most advanced equipment available in the industry and recruited the best and the brightest in order to meet growing industry needs for expediency throughout a wide spectrum of specialized services. Our ability to trial new products on a pilot scale, in advance of going to full production, was met with considerable enthusiasm."

Norwich has been exhibiting at InterPhex for over 10 years, with this year's conference deemed as productive as any the company has participated in according to Norwich management. "They came from all over the world," says Calhoun, "to find new resources and learn about emerging trends. We were pleased to be the focus of a portion of that attention this year."
