Purchase of Renewable Energy Credits, new office procedures and volunteer events aid the environment

Offsetting our environmental impact through the purchase of renewable energy credits is only the first step to being environmentally responsible. We're proud of our employees and shareholders for voluntarily taking the additional measures necessary to reduce our carbon footprint, produce less waste, and renew the resources we've used

Votenet™ Solutions, Inc., the leading provider of secure online voting and nomination solutions for associations, corporations, law firms, non-profits, universities and organizations, announced today significant proactive measures to decrease the amount of carbon dioxide emissions used to operate the company and take responsibility for the environmental impact the company has.

The purchase of Renewable Energy Credits from partner Renewable Choice Energy (RCE) offset Votenet Solutions' environmental impact by supporting generation of wind powered electricity via RCE's American Wind™ power product, a blend of renewable energy credits from wind farms across North America, primarily the U.S.

Votenet Solutions has also taken several proactive steps to significantly reduce its carbon footprint and produce less waste going into landfills, including:
             •    Eliminating all disposable cups, silverware, and dishes in favor of reusable items
             •    Turning off all lights and electrical equipment while not in use
             •    Adjusting the power options on all computers, printers, and fax machines enter
into sleep/hibernate mode at regular and recommended intervals
             •    Discouraging printing of non-essential material
             •    Printing inter-office materials on previously used paper before recycling
             •    Unplugging all non-essential electrical equipment during the day and during non-business hours

Votenet Solutions has planned several employee volunteer events for May 2009 supporting environmental conservation and renewal, including a day in which employees volunteer to plant trees in the Washington, D.C. area.

"Offsetting our environmental impact through the purchase of renewable energy credits is only the first step to being environmentally responsible. We're proud of our employees and shareholders for voluntarily taking the additional measures necessary to reduce our carbon footprint, produce less waste, and renew the resources we've used," stated Michael Tuteur, CEO and President, Votenet Solutions, Inc.
