Results from The Ohio State University's 2008 research plots confirm corn farmers can enjoy significant yield increase when applying Bio-Forge®. Yield increases ranged from 8.4 bu/acre to 13.2 bu/acre according to the study. Experts credited Bio-Forge's ability to manage stress ethylene, even under the extreme weather conditions experienced during this 2008 corn study, as the source of the positive results.
Faced with extreme stress - in extreme wet and then extreme dry conditions, Bio-Forge was compared to untreated corn and to corn treated with fungicides. Bio-Forge proved to enhance yields considerably over untreated plants when applied foliar at the V12 stage in a corn plant population with 30,000 seeding rate.
"Bio-Forge is the most effective and economical choice for farmers," said Jerry Stoller, founder and CEO of the Stoller Group. "It costs significantly less to apply than other products claiming ethylene reduction - and it targets only the stress ethylene."
Bio-Forge is an antioxidant that purges plant cells of stress ethylene for all crops. Its groundbreaking technology has been validated by university studies to significantly increase yields of food, feed, and bio-fuel producing crops.
"Normal amounts of ethylene are part of a plant's natural life cycle," comments Stoller. "It activates flowering, reproduction, and disease resistance. But when a plant is stressed the ethylene levels spike beyond an optimal level and create stress ethylene. Stress ethylene causes a plant's cells to shut down and die. Bio-Forge will manage stress ethylene to an optimal level to restore proper functioning of the plant, while increasing yield."
StollerUSA is dedicated to helping producers enhance yields by maximizing genetic expression. The result is in enhanced marketable yield; improved return on investment resistance to insects, nematodes and disease. Stoller products are proven to ensure optimum plant growth by maintaining appropriate hormone balance in combination with supporting nutrients, resulting in healthier, more productive crops that are better able to withstand stress and achieve their full genetic potential.
In agribusiness for more than 40 years, StollerUSA markets a full line of products to help farmers increase crop yield and quality.
