BeanTree Learning Families Launch "Love of Literacy" Campaign to Benefit Child Find

The families and teachers at area BeanTree Learning locations are coming together to raise awareness and promote a love of literacy. BeanTree Learning, which offers private education and care for infants through full-day kindergarten students, announced the campaign to benefit the Child Find programs in Fairfax and Loudoun County Public Schools.

Westfields / Chantilly, VA (PRWEB) May 1, 2009 -- The families and teachers at area BeanTree Learning locations are coming together to raise awareness and promote a love of literacy. BeanTree Learning, which offers private preschool education and childcare for infants through full-day kindergarten students, announced the campaign to benefit the Child Find programs in Fairfax and Loudoun County Public Schools.

The BeanTree Learning community of teaching professionals and more than five-hundred family members will donate new, age-appropriate books for the Child Find program which helps assess and evaluate the developmental needs of preschoolers. "Child Find serves as an invaluable resource to many children in our BeanTree community and throughout Ashburn and Chantilly. Our "Love of Literacy" program will provide much needed new books to the Child Find resource teachers and support their efforts in assessing speech, language, vision, and hearing development in children at very young ages," stated BeanTree Learning's owner and founder Jennifer Bower. Currently, there are more than 100 teachers serving 2,500 children in the Child Find program in the Loudoun and Fairfax County School Systems.

Bower said the "Love of Literacy" campaign reinforces the foundation of learning offered at BeanTree Learning. "There is no more important gift you can give a child than love and encouragement of reading. Together, we hope to promote early literacy and help hundreds of children in our local area at an early age," said Bower.

BeanTree Learning families will present their new book donations to representatives of Child Find at the 4th Annual BeanTree Learning Family Picnic on Saturday, May 2nd at 3:00 p.m. Bower expects hundreds of books to be contributed to the Child Find programs in Loudoun and Fairfax counties.
