Campfire Tents Nears its Three Year Anniversary; adds New Blog
CampfireTents.com is an online venture that has one of the best catalogs of tents anywhere. The site will be celebrating its three year anniversary and has recently added a new blog.
Sparta, WI (PRWEB) May 2, 2009 -- With summer creeping up rapidly, families and individuals are preparing for the camping season by buying up sleeping bags, camping tents, cooking gear and other types of equipment now. Having launched back in July of 2006, Campfire Tents has spent the last three years gaining traction as one of the best camping tent sites on the internet, most of which is spawned by co-owner Todd McGinnis' love of the outdoors.
"I've enjoyed camping since I was a kid," said McGinnis. "And as a family, we do a considerable amount of camping in a year.
"When we decided to start our business, we wanted to build something specific for people who were looking for specialized tents," he added. "Most tents at sporting goods stores are either cheaply made or lack the selection that an avid camper would need. Here, we're able to bridge the gaps between reliability, affordability and selection."

As McGinnis continues to add more products to the site, they have also started a new blog recently, www.TheCampinGuru.com.
"The blog is a good way for us to personalize the site a little bit more," he said. "We are going to be writing about the gear that people will need and the different types of tents out there. It will be a good resource for anyone who loves camping and wants to share their knowledge."
As the site continues into its third year, McGinnis said that it's changing and evolving and, in a way, becoming its own entity and not just a store. Summer is almost here and the Campfire Tent experience might be the best one out there.
