Gateway Community Safety Net Wins Bronze At 2009 Summit International Creative Awards CSN Recognized For Rural Safety DVD Entry In Educational Video Category

(Vocus/PRWEB ) May 6, 2009 -- Gateway Community Safety Net (CSN), a leading provider of educational safety resources for children, is a winner in the 2009 Summit International Awards Creative competition. CSN earned bronze in the educational video category, for “Rural Safety” an interactive DVD from the company’s library of family-focused safety resources.

Gateway Community Safety Net also provides interactive DVDs for kids on the topics of “Drug Safety”, “Fire Safety” and “Personal Safety”, as well as a companion series of printed safety materials that are aimed at children aged five to twelve and their families.

“We are extremely proud to have our materials recognized by the judges at the 2009 Summit Creative Awards,” said Corey DesJarlais, National Safety Director of Gateway Community Safety Net. “This honor further underscores our belief that we provide top quality safety resources to children and their families across the United States and Canada.”

The Summit Creative Awards recognizes and celebrates the creative accomplishments of small and medium sized advertising agencies and other creative groups with annual billings of $30 million or less. This year, a panel of international judges from eight countries considered entries in 21 creative categories. They searched for innovative and creative concepts, strong executions, and the ability to communicate and persuade.

The 2009 SIA creative competition included entrants from twenty-six countries. Winners were selected in categories that include print, broadcast, emerging media, online advertising, marketing materials, direct mail, political, corporate video, public service, best idea never produced, industry self-promotion, brand redesign, educational video, and student competition.

“Winning a Summit Creative Award is a significant accomplishment. The combination of our excellent judges and the tough judging criteria ensures that only deserving entries receive Summit recognition,” said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director for the Summit International Awards.
