FunForFelines.com Announces Official Debut
New web venture, FunForFelines.com has a large catalog of products that can rival any pet store chain. Recently site founder, Jacqueline Skerritt, sat down to discuss her new website and blog.
Bozeman, MT (PRWEB) May 6, 2009 -- When it comes to good quality cat toys, most pet owners find that bigger retail outlets and national pet stores don't quite have the selection that specialized pet shops carry. The reality is that for people in smaller towns, they only have these retail stores that have a limited supply of cat supplies. Luckily, the advent of the Internet has allowed smaller niche businesses to cater to these demands.
Jacqueline Skerritt is the proprietor of one such website, www.FunForFelines.com, which recently debuted in February 2009.
"I can never find the stuff I need for my cat," said Skerritt. "I thought that there are other people out there like me who just can't find a variety of cat toys or cat climbing trees out there and so it made sense for me to find all these items and put them on a site."
Though the web store is in its infancy, it has an impressive catalog of products such as cat trees and discount cat toys.
"It was important to me to carry a wide variety of items for other cat lovers," Skerritt explained.
While she plans on expanding her product line to include cat boxes, among other ideas, Skerritt has simultaneously started an informational blog that will no doubt have an array of helpful hints for pet owners.
"I'm going to be posting tips about entertaining cats, advice on health care and I'd like to post pictures of cats if other people want to share them," Skerritt said of www.FunForFelinesBlog.com.
Though Skerritt has to compete with larger stores, she maintains that the pure convenience and affordability of going to her site will outshine the limited resources of the big box retailers.
"I have a one stop shop," she said. "When I was going to other sites, I'd have to go to three or four different websites - it's also the same with going to brick and mortar stores. I'm working towards making something that is easy for all cat lovers."
