Tilzy.TV Assembles Advertisers, Digital Entertainment Leaders for First-Annual Onfronts™
Generate CEO, Jordan Levin to keynote event aimed at showcasing premier Web serials as valuable advertising platform.
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 5, 2009 -- Tilzy.tv, the leading source for news and reviews of digital entertainment and a founding organization behind The Streamy Awards™ and The International Academy of Web Television (IAWT), today announced the first-annual Onfronts, an exclusive showcase of premier Web shows for brands and media buyers aimed at demonstrating the value of this growing medium as a platform for advertising and product placement.
Media buyers from every major holding company are expected to attend the day's program which leads-off with a presentation by keynote speaker Jordan Levin, CEO of Generate, the cross-platform media company behind two of the most successful Web series in recent months: Republicrats and the Streamy Award-winning, Pink.
Presentations from leading Web studios: 60 Frames, atom, Attention Span Media, blip.tv, DECA, EQAL, For Your Imagination, MyDamnChannel, NextNewNetworks, Revision3, Take 180 and Virtual Artists will follow along with a panel discussion with major advertisers and agencies currently embracing branded Web video.

In keeping with the medium's spirit of independence and creativity, independent producers are invited to submit examples of their Web video work in the form of a short teaser or trailer and email to pilots(at)tilzy.tv. Tilzy.TV will select a handful of works to be screened at Onfronts as part of the day's program.
The inaugural Onfronts will take place on June 9, 2009 at the New World Stages in New York City. Deadline for independent content submissions is May 15, 2009.
