Copy Audit Touch Customers Benefit From Innovative Rules Features
Print Audit adds new Rules features to its walkup photocopy tracking solution, Copy Audit Touch, allowing customers to cut costs and reduce their environmental impact in novel ways
Calgary, Alberta (PRWEB) May 7, 2009 -- Last month Print Audit released a new and improved version of its popular flagship product, Print Audit 6. Now the leading print management company has integrated many of the same innovative new features into their copy tracking solution, Copy Audit Touch. Among the most significant new capabilities are Rules features which allow customers to limit and restrict photocopying jobs based on a wide range of preferences.
"The primary concern for all organizations right now is cutting costs. By adding the new Rules features to Copy Audit Touch, we are giving our customers the ability to ensure that one-hundred percent of their imaging devices are being used efficiently," said John MacInnes, President and CEO of Print Audit.
As part of the new Rules features in Touch, customers have the option to limit jobs based on the user, total pages, black & white pages, color pages or job cost. If a limit is reached, organizations can display a custom message to the user and either cancel the job, have the user re-send the job to a different device or simply warn them about their behavior. These rules can be applied to all of the device's functions including copying, scanning, faxing and more.
In addition to the added Rules features, the new version of Copy Audit Touch now offers the ability to create declining balances based on pages used as well as the ability to restrict copier usage with user groups.
