Fonda & Fraser, LLP Attains Dismissal of Spinal Surgeon From Lawsuit Brought by Ed McMahon
The attorneys for entertainer Ed McMahon have agreed to dismiss all claims against Spinal Surgeon, Neelakantan Anand, MD and dismiss him from the present lawsuit pending in Los Angeles Superior Court, Case No. BC394738.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 7, 2009 -- The attorneys for entertainer Ed McMahon have agreed to dismiss all claims against Spinal Surgeon, Neelakantan Anand, MD and dismiss him from the present lawsuit pending in Los Angeles Superior Court, Case No. BC394738.
Dr. Anand's Attorney, Stephen C. Fraser of the law firm Fonda & Fraser, LLP, states "Dr. Anand is very pleased that all claims against him have been resolved and dismissed. He is very happy with the outcome." According to Mr. McMahon's attorney, Eric Yuhl, of Yuhl Stoner Carr, LLP, "Mr. McMahon is also glad the case against Dr. Anand is over so we can now focus on the target defendants. We remain confident in the merits and strength of the case against the main defendants." Trial is scheduled to begin on May 27, 2009.
Ed McMahon fell in March of 2007 while attending a dinner party suffering a broken neck and required three spinal surgeries to correct the injury. As a result, Mr. McMahon remains seriously ill and unable to resume his career.
