'Slice like a Ninja, Cut like a Razor Blade;' New Knife & Sword Blog Gives Tips
Recently debuted website, KnivesAndSwordShop.com has added a new educational blog to its many features. The site's founder sat down to talk about his latest web venture.
Mauston, WI (PRWEB) May 7, 2009 -- For many sword and knife hobbyists, simply going to the shopping mall, provided they have a decent cutlery store, is oftentimes not enough to satisfy their collections. Thanks to the advent of the internet, however, a collector can log onto a site like www.KnivesAndSwordShop.com and find nearly ever type of blade imaginable.
"My hobby in knives and swords lead me to starting the website," stated Frederick Green.
Green launched the website in November 2008 and came running out the gates with one of the most diverse catalogs of any specialty store. From Samurai swords to katanas to throwing axes, it can all be found on KnivesAndSwordShop.com.
"I try to have a well-stocked e-store," said Green. "If there are any collectors who are like me, they'll want to see the best selection possible, which is what we strive for."
According to Green, the selection at Knives and Sword Shop is rotated often and can include special edition products.
Recently, KnivesAndSwordShop.com has added a new informational blog (www.KnivesAndSwordShopInfo.com) as a feature.
"The blog is going to have an array of different information that both enthusiasts and non-hobbyists may find interesting," Green said. "We'll cover how different knives are made and the various techniques. There's a lot to be learned from the blog."
As the site continues onto its eighth month, Green takes everything in stride as he maintains one of the most unique websites on the internet.
"When I started this, I was learning how to do something new and I feel like I never stop learning," he said.
Thanks to a site like KnivesAndSwordShop.com, people are able to fulfill their collections, as well as learn some new things about the art of the blade.
