McFadden, a fitness enthusiast himself, stresses the importance of offering an alternative to the collective declining health of Americans across the country.
"People should be health oriented," he said. "Part of the problem is that some people don't know where to start. We're here to show them where they can start."
Open since October 2008, Fitness Begins Here has a respectable catalog of equipment and McFadden plans on adding more.
"Our goal is to give people the opportunity to have gym-quality equipment for the home," he said. "We're going to start including other products and create a total health fitness site with heavy duty weightlifting equipment as a marginal part of that."
The other part of McFadden's desire to turn the site into an all-encompassing health site includes a new blog called www.Fitness-ProductsInfo.com.
"My wife and I have worked out for years," McFadden explained. "We have figured out what works and what doesn't work and this blog is a way for us to share our experience.
"The flip side to that is we can also communicate with readers through the comments section."
While the state of American health continues to shift, people who come across FitnessBeginsHere.com no longer have an excuse to feign excuses from exercising; with a helpful blog and affordable equipment, the website is the best place, if any, to start with a fit and healthier life.
