Study Proves CELLFOOD Oxygen+Nutrient Supplement Effective for Symptoms of Asthma

Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) May 7, 2009 -- Asthma sufferers can breathe easier with CELLFOOD according to a study conducted by Ireland-based Friends of Asthma. The organization conducted a trial with twenty long-time asthma patients, measuring their lung function (peak flow) and oxygen levels at the beginning and end of three months. During this time, the participants took the recommended daily dosage of CELLFOOD and were asked to monitor their perceptions on the number and severity of attacks, use of medication and any other observation they considered relevant.

By the end of the trial, increases in peak flow reading and oxygen levels were recorded for all the participants. The average increase was 30 per cent (from 260 to 340) with a range from 11 per cent to 66 per cent. Half of the participants experienced peak flow increases between 25 and 40 per cent. Research has shown that higher peak flows are linked to fewer and less severe asthma attacks.
Similarly, oxygen levels in the blood increased by an average of almost seven percent (from 91 per cent to 97.6 per cent). Low levels of oxygen in the blood can affect lung function and increase the risk of viral infections, a greater problem among asthmatics than non-asthmatics. The study suggests that CELLFOOD may play a role in bringing oxygen levels up to the range of average healthy people.
Participants in the study also reported fewer attacks and less reliance on their medication. They also reported having more energy, making it easier to conduct their everyday tasks. Friends of Asthma has advocated for a larger, double-blind study to further explore the role CELLFOOD can play in treatment protocols for asthma.
