ERP-Link and Nintex Join Forces to Deliver Applications on iNet SAP/Microsoft Interoperability Platform
Companies Can Now Easily Integrate SAP Data into Microsoft Workflows to Create Seamless Information Flow.
ERP-Link Corp. and Nintex® have partnered to integrate the ERP-Link iNet SAP-Microsoft interoperability platform and Nintex Workflow 2007 applications. Organizations will benefit from seamless access to SAP data in their Microsoft Office SharePoint Server applications.
Portland, Ore. and Seattle, Wash. (PRWEB) May 7, 2009 -- ERP-Link Corp. and Nintex® today announced the signing of a partnership agreement to integrate the ERP-Link iNet SAP-Microsoft interoperability platform and Nintex Workflow 2007 applications.
Now Nintex customers can tightly link SAP data into their Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 applications, processes, and workflows--revolutionizing how people interact with enterprises.
ERP-Link customers developing iNet applications (iNet Apps) with the iNet Business Optimization Platform (iNet.BOP) can create powerful MOSS workflows using the intuitive graphical web-based user interface of Nintex Workflow 2007.
"We're pleased to have Nintex join the growing number of vendors who are incorporating the iNet SAP-Microsoft interoperability platform into their software solutions," said Eric Anderson, President of ERP-Link Corporation. "This partnership strengthens the ability of both companies to deliver off-the-shelf applications that ensure more people gain the benefits of cost-effectively incorporating SAP data in the Microsoft applications they use daily."
Wayne Woolston, Managing Director of Nintex agreed with Anderson and said, "This partnership delivers enterprise-ready integration with an enterprise workflow solution for SAP and Microsoft, at a third of the cost of competitive solutions on the market."
Mike Fitzmaurice, Vice President of Product Technology of Nintex, added "When you're making the effort to bridge SAP assets to Microsoft technology, it just makes sense to use a solution that works for workflow, for forms, for Web Parts, and for many other use cases. By combining Nintex Workflow with ERP-Link technology, customers will get great SAP-connected workflows, and they'll get a lot more in the bargain."
With iNet.BOP and Nintex Workflow 2007, enterprises benefit from seamless access to SAP business processes and data from MOSS applications. Workflow steps can be distributed as desired between the two environments of MOSS and SAP: they can all be on the MOSS side, all on the SAP side, or distributed such that workflow steps are passed back and forth at any point in the business process.
Transactional processes and SAP Office Business Applications can incorporate full workflow capabilities, and thanks to the universal SAP-MS interoperability capabilities of iNet.BOP, also incorporate any type of real-time SAP reporting or document handling along with those transactional and workflow functions.
ERP-Link is demonstrating its iNet platform and iNet Apps in the Microsoft booth (booth #936) at the SAPPHIRE 2009 conference in Orlando, Florida, May 11-14, 2009.
A sponsor of the Microsoft Tech-Ed conference, which takes place in Los Angeles, California, May 11-15, 2009, Nintex (booth #410) is demonstrating its SharePoint 2007 products.
