At Home in the City Makes its Dot Com Debut!

The Susan Fredman Design Group re-launches their e-commerce website, www.SusanFredmanAtHome.com to include products from their new brick and mortar, At Home in the City.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 11, 2009 -- At Home in the City, the Susan Fredman Design Group's retail store and design resource center in Chicago, is proud to introduce the launch of their new e-commerce site which now encompasses the products of the recently opened home store in Chicago, At Home in the City. In 2006 the group launched the site www.SusanFredmanAtHome. The site, originally highlighted home products geared towards retreat living and featured collections from their first retail location, At Home with Nature in Michigan's fashionable Harbor Country.

"We are so excited to now have a broader reach with our products for the urban home as well as the retreat home", says Susan Fredman. "We are thrilled about the functionality of our online bridal registry component which has all the bells and whistles of the big guys but with us, you get personal service with an interior design point of view".

The group just launched their bridal collection earlier this month and built out nearly 500 sqft to accommodate display and workspace. "It's very exciting for us to now have this registry component to our business and we have really enjoyed working one on one with couples as they put their wish lists together", says designer Aimee Nemeckay. "We offer a unique service where we can help mix and match collections and seamlessly blend the registry with the couple's unique environment. With the online gift registry we have a 24-7 tool that supports the creative work we do with each couple".

The new site features a landing page where the customer chooses to shop products by either city or retreat. There is even a link to their online bridal registry. Over 1500 new products have been added to the site all with a hip and urban focus. Its user friendly navigation organized by room makes shopping easy. The group anticipates making further upgrades to the site which will be complete by Fall of 2009.
