Independent Business Site Debuts New Blog

Throw Your Tie Away is a company started by a man who wanted to help people avoid the pitfalls of getting scammed while starting an internet business. Recently, the site added a new blog to expand on its vast knowledge of tips on how to successfully navigate away from getting ripped off.

Boulder, CO (PRWEB) May 13, 2009 -- Back in December 2008, Allen Henderson started his informational website, www.ThrowYourTieAway.com, a resource that gives people the right tools on how to avoid internet scams as they begin to build their own web based businesses.

"I've seen people get sucked into online scams," recalled Henderson. "I wanted to create a website that would help people avoid scams and losing money."

Having established itself to be a helpful source, ThrowYourTieAway.com has a list of online opportunities that have proved to work for individuals, as well as a list of potential scammers.

"Network marketing is a very popular vehicle these days, but the probability of getting scammed is just as great," Henderson said.

Though the site is still relatively new, Henderson is already writing and adding more articles and an e-books page. His current expansion also includes a new blog that he's recently launched as well.

"The blog is a way to talk about the benefits of working from home and I'm giving additional tips on starting your business safely," Henderson said of www.BizOpportunitiesBlog.com.

"It is definitely another positive component to the website," he added.

As technology moves in a much more rapid pace, Henderson is quick to point out that he doesn't want to discourage people from starting home or web based businesses; he merely wants people to take the safest routes possible.

"There are single mothers and fathers out there who have kids and maybe working a 9-to-5 does more harm to their family dynamic," he said. "Working from home alleviates that, but people shouldn't lose their shirts over it because there are some bad seeds out there."
