NAI Friedland Realty Names Anthony J. Lembeck Chief Operating Officer

NAI Friedland Realty, a full service commercial real estate firm serving metropolitan New York, has appointed Anthony J. Lembeck, former Executive Vice President and Industrial Division Head, as Chief Operating Officer (COO). The announcement was made by Robert Friedland, the firm's founder and Chairman.

Yonkers, NY (PRWEB) May 14, 2009 -- NAI Friedland Realty, a full service commercial real estate firm serving metropolitan New York, has appointed Anthony J. Lembeck, former Executive Vice President and Industrial Division Head, as Chief Operating Officer (COO). The announcement was made by Robert Friedland, the firm's founder and Chairman.

"Tony" Lembeck joined NAI Friedland Realty in 1995, after retiring from the practice of real estate law in Manhattan. Lembeck's main focus at Friedland has been on industrial transactions. In 2007, he was named Manager of the Industrial Division. Lembeck has represented large property holders in both Westchester and the Bronx, including the exclusive representation of the Lockheed Martin Corporation on multiple transactions. He was successful in negotiating with the New York City Board of Education for the creation of a new high school in the Soundview section of the Bronx and recently concluded the transfer (for the second time) of the former 91/2 acre Loral Electronics site in the South Bronx to a real estate developer. Lembeck has the reputation of being a good and savvy negotiator and has consistently closed the greatest number of transactions at Friedland.

In addition to real estate, Lembeck has run a textile importing company, worked as a theatre producer in New York City, and owned a boys sports summer camp in Maine. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Temple Shaaray Tefila in Bedford Corners, NY and is on the Board of Directors of Family Services of Westchester, a not-for-profit agency serving the needs of county residents. For the past 16 years, he has helped to run Camp Viva, a one-week sleep away camp for families affected by HIV/Aids. He is one of the founders of the Camp. Lembeck received a Bachelor of Arts in 1979 from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami's School of Law. He resides in Goldens Bridge with his wife, Andrea. They have four children, Jared, Sophie, Averi, and Amelia.
