Frustrated by the ever-present additives in adult and even kids styling products unsuitable for use on her own child’s hair, exclusive Santa Barbara MISHAY salon owner and veteran hair stylist Andrea Ridgell responded by founding G & G Hair Products to develop a new generation of healthy hair care products specifically for kids. “My two children grew up in and around my salon, so we were always styling their hair for fun, and they loved it,” said Ridgell, president and founder of G & G Hair Products and a leading professional in the industry since the age of 16. “But as intimate as I was with the hair care products available to both consumers and professionals, I was never able to identify a single product that met my criteria for healthy ingredients.
