AdPerfect has expanded its Classified Marketplace Directories application to include print and online display advertising opportunities. The directories, which use a publisher's classified database to reverse-publish print ads and seamlessly connect consumers to online and mobile media, now provide publishers with the ability to integrate print and online display advertisements. This is part of the company's strategic goal of creating a fully integrated advertising solution for its publisher clients.

The new feature maximizes publisher revenue by integrating print and online display ads into the Marketplace Directory product. Administrators simply upload display ad graphics into the system interface and the application produces camera-ready print and online advertisements in minutes. In addition, all consumer activity and advertiser results are tracked and measured via AdPerfect's print ROI reporting metrics.

Several AdPerfect clients have begun utilizing the retail ad option, including The National Post in Canada. The National Post recently revamped their Used Car Print Directory using AdPerfect's software to include premium display ad positions. "The flexibility of both Retail Ads and Make Sponsorships make this a very powerful application upgrade which fits the needs of all of our local marketplaces across the country," said Angela Steurnagel, the Automotive Online Sales Manager for Canwest Digital Media, Publishing. "This feature meets two critical strategic requirements: increasing revenue on the page(s) if the dealer listings are undersold; and gives us the ability to increase revenue and page yield. In addition, it extends the newspaper sales team's customer base by targeting automotive auxiliary businesses such as banks, tires, parts, etc., who are looking to specifically target used car shoppers in a local marketplace."

AdPerfect continues to develop its application to increase ad value for publishers and advertisers. "Our goal is to create publisher solutions that re-invent the classified marketplace," said Paul Lydon, Director of Sales and Business Development for AdPerfect's Integrated Media division. "Whether that's extending print value by connecting consumers to online and mobile media or introducing innovate print ROI reporting metrics, we are continuously striving to transform the classified sector."
