Woodinville Warehouse Wineries Hosts a Series of Themed Wine, Art, and Food Events From May Until September 2009

Themed Events Draw Crowds of Wine, Food, and Art Lovers to the Esteemed Woodinville Wine Country

Seattle (PRWEB) May 15, 2009 -- Alicia Hansen announced Monday that Woodinville Warehouse Wineries will host a series of themed Third Thursday Wine Walks beginning in May of 2009, and going all the way through September 2009. "We have combined wine tasting with special foods from local gourmet restaurants, art from local artists, and the opportunity to taste new offerings and the harvest of the wineries' 2009 vintages".

The May 21st event will be a Spring Release where you can be among the first to try participating wineries' new offerings. June 18th will feature the ever tasty combo of wine and cheese pairings and how they glide together to enhance even the most complex palate. July 16th will feature a wine and art pairing, where each winery will host a local artist to showcase their work. August 20th will pair wines with food from local restaurants so that attendees can better understand which foods belong with particular wines and why they pair so well together.

September 17th will be a harvest event where you can visit the wineries while they are producing their 2009 vintages -- learn about wine production and taste the last of the 2009 vintages.

We have several wineries participating in these themed events, and we are proud that they will be giving back to the community by hosting and donating their time and energy to the people of Woodinville and the surrounding Seattle area. The May's participating wineries are: Des Voigne Cellars, Alexandria Nicole, Anton Ville, Chatter Creek, Covington Cellars, Cowan Vineyards, Edmonds Winery, Gordon Brothers, Page Cellars, Patterson Cellars, Red Sky Winery and William Church Winery. Each month attendees will see a slightly different list of participating wineries.

Come and taste at least twelve of the wineries in the Woodinville Warehouse Wineries area for only $20 (cash only). Each winery will feature two wines. Tickets can be purchased at the Woodinville Park North ticket tent (located at 19501 144th Avenue NE just across from Building A at the entrance to the park), Chatter Creek (18658 142nd Ave. NE www.chattercreek.com) and

Covington Cellars (18580 142nd Ave. NE www.covingtoncellars.com).
