New Tactical Gear Website Debuts Online
Originally starting back in August 2008, PCH Online evolved into PCH-Online Outfitters in March of 2009 and now has a complete catalog of tactical items, kitchenware, and outdoor gear. Recently, the newly revamped site added a blog to its many features.
Lexington, OH (PRWEB) May 15, 2009 -- Safety is a primary concern for many people across the United States. According to a survey published by DisasterCenter.com, with information provided by the FBI's Uniform Crime Reports, there were 11,251,828 crimes in the U.S. of various degrees ranging from rape to murder to robbery. In March 2009, entrepreneurs Phillip and Charlotte Locke redesigned their website and re-launched it as www.PCH-OnlineOutfitters.com, an e-store that specializes in law enforcement gear and various other items.
"We could see that there was a need for safety items for people who are out there protecting people," said Charlotte, "so we catered our store to fit that demand."
While the original version of their site started back in August of 2008, the web store makeover includes recent addition of knives, flashlights, swords, safety gear, watches, outdoor accessories and kitchenware, as well as the new URL.
"We're really trying to provide a little bit of everything for people," explained Phillip.
In addition to the revamp of the store, the Lockes have added a new informational blog to their site.
"We're going to have product reviews and have a way to communicate how these products can be used in everyday life," Phillip said of www.PCH-OnlineOutfittersBlog.com.
"It's definitely a good way to communicate with people, too," added Charlotte.
As PCH-OnlineOutfitters.com continues to develop and evolve, it's assuring to know that there's a place where people can find affordable items that will help keep them safe in a world where crime is so prevalent.
