Nitto Tire Signs Contingency Agreement With Redline Time Attack Series

Nitto Tire is a proud sponsor of grassroots motorsports and the racing industry. To further support grassroots racing this year, Nitto created a contingency program for the Street Classes in the Redline Time Attack race series. The contingency program is open to all participants of the Street Classes who race with Nitto's all-new NT05 max performance tire.

Cypress, Calif. (PRWEB) May 15, 2009 -- Nitto Tire is a proud sponsor of grassroots motorsports and the racing industry. To further support grassroots racing this year, Nitto created a contingency program for the Street Classes in the Redline Time Attack race series. The contingency program is open to all participants of the Street Classes who race with Nitto's all-new NT05 max performance tire.

The Redline Time Attack series is comprised of 9 different classes which cater to different skill levels and vehicle modification levels. A typical event includes several morning practice sessions that allow drivers to fine tune their vehicles and racing lines. After practice, each division has two competition sessions; each is comprised of one warm up lap and three hot laps. The driver with the fastest hot lap time at the end of the day is declared the winner.

Nitto's contingency program rewards first and second place winners who compete in the FWD, RWD or AWD Street Classes using Nitto's all-new NT05 max performance tire. Each winner can choose one of two prizes: tires or purse money. The first place winner is entitled to either a set of NT05 tires or a purse of $350. The second place winner is entitled to either two NT05 tires or a purse of $250.

The NT05 is a max performance tire that was developed using advanced computer simulation and extensive on-track testing. It was designed to provide crisp turn-in, excellent steering feedback, and stability under braking. The result is a street tire that responds instantly to your inputs, inspiring confidence and keeping you connected to the road.
