Entertainment & Sports International Announces 'Field of Screens' to Launch in 2010
The World's First Traveling Multi-Screen Outdoor Film Festival to Visit Fifty Minor League Baseball Ballparks
Glen Ridge, NJ (PRWEB) May 15, 2009 -- During the 2010 baseball season, "Field of Screens", the world's first travelling outdoor film festival, will turn minor league baseball stadiums into multiplexes under the stars as announced today by ESI (Entertainment and Sports International), the country's leading producer of exciting and unique touring experiences designed specifically for minor league ballparks. With over 50 events planned for next season, "Field of Screens" will showcase current movies on three giant screens set-up right on the playing field, each featuring the latest state-of-the-art projection and audio systems. "Field of Screens" will be produced in addition to ESI's extremely successful "Family Fun Fest" which is currently in its sixth season touring the country.
Minor league baseball continues to be one of America's most affordable family entertainment values, and ESI has designed "Field of Screens" to allow teams to offer this unprecedented event to their communities for an extremely low admission price, which will include a beverage and snack. "Field of Screens" will appear in ballparks on "dark nights", when the home team is away. Screens will be situated with three distinct movie "theaters" showing different popular hits; facing stadium seating on the first base line, third base line and the outfield where you can bring a blanket and sit right in centerfield. Movie fans of all ages will have their choice of which movie to see, or hop from one screen to another. Each event will also feature pre-show live entertainment including music and hosted movie trivia and contests.
"Minor league baseball stadiums rank among the most magnificent and fan friendly facilities in the country," says ESI Managing Partner Joe Owens. "Next to a baseball game, we couldn't think of a better way for a family to spend a special summer evening than in a beautiful outdoor setting enjoying a great movie! We have no doubt movie fans of all ages will embrace this exciting new concept."
In order to keep admission costs low, and to provide brands with a spectacular marketing opportunity, ESI is currently offering title and screen sponsorships. Each package will include extensive exposure through aggressive ESI and team promotion and public relations, as well as on-site signage and sampling programs. For more information brands are invited to contact ESI's Joe Owens at (919)450-0300. Teams interested in participating should contact Bert Gould , (973)748-7600.
