Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 14, 2009 -- National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Drag Racer, Nicole Lyons, has officially signed on with the William Morris Agency as of this February and Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment (BHE) as of this April to assist her in being the first African American female and potential first female to win a NHRA Pro Stock event and championship. WMA and BHE will be assisting by using the world of entertainment a testament to what they do best. Lyons has teamed up with the championship title-holder Victor Cagnazzi Racing for a big push to racing NHRA Pro Stock 2010 contingent upon finding sponsorship. She has been soliciting final rounds of sponsorship for her 2010 year--Pro Stock Full Throttle Series.
"Teaming up with Victor Cagnazzi will give any new potential sponsors the best they could ask for in terms of NHRA Pro Stock. I am so excited to have the opportunity to race with such a world class organization when sponsorship is in place," said Lyons.
William Morris Agency signed the "untitled" Nicole Lyons reality television show which is currently in pre-production under Bischoff-Hervey and Nicole Lyons Productions. Lyons is excited to face the obstacles with stepping up to Pro Stock and the pressure of being a historic first she could have not had a better mentor to help with the learning curve as well as the pressure's associated with racing Pro Stock then in Cagnazzi Racing. Her current team, Cagnazzi Racing is the best in the business, winning the 2007 and 2008 Pro Stock Championships, and recently won the O'Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals in Madison, Illinois. Not to mention, Lyons is one of the few drag racers that has the ability to build and design her own engines. Nicole Lyons has already been featured on NBC, Tyra Banks, Black Enterprise Magazine, G4TV, and many more. She is what critics are calling "The Tiger Woods of Drag Racing."
"Redefining history is what I do best," comments Nicole Lyons, "Being a woman and on top of that, an African American woman, I had to overcome boundaries to make it where I am today, and I wouldn't change anything because it shows the example that with persistence, drive, determination, and faith anything and everything is possible."
