New Study by Crowd Science Indicates College Graduates are Staying Put

Using the Crowd Science network to gather a cross section of responses via the internet, the new study indicates that college graduates are planning to continue their post-graduate education rather than face an uncertain economy and mounting student debt.

Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) May 15, 2009 -- Crowd Science announces the results of a new study focused on college students intentions post-graduation. The study indicates that college students are planning to continue their post-graduate education rather than facing an uncertain economy and mounting student debt.

The sample was evenly split between males/females, ages 18-24.

  • 53% of those surveyed plan to continue their education
  • 53% expect to have student debt upon graduation
  • Fully 1/3 of those surveyed had a negative outlook on the economy - significantly more negative than non-US students.

"It says a lot about the state of the economy that college graduates would prefer to stay in school rather than face the realities of the US economy today," says John Martin, CEO of Crowd Science. "The Crowd Science network allows us to tap into a vast array of segments, and identify demographic and attitudinal data quickly and efficiently. The growth of the network has been a tremendous enabler for our clients."
