"SCore Your Best Summer Ever" is a new, online program (http://www.scatr.com/score.htm) loaded with insider tips on great summer destinations. From museums and art studios to state parks and outdoor recreation; golf courses to restaurants, this program will help travelers navigate the state this summer.
Start by downloading the "SCorecard" (http://www.scatr.com/docs/SCORECARD.pdf) that details select destinations in each of the state's 11 tourism regions. It contains hyperlinks and can be printed out to guide vacationers' road trips.
The program is designed around six categories, including: golf, restaurants (there's a special emphasis on those serving local ingredients), multi-generational favorites, kids, outdoor recreation, festivals/events and history. Each tourism district in South Carolina has showcased new or lesser-known attractions, destinations and events.
More than 25 free activities throughout South Carolina are highlighted in the SCorecard.
