Giving HOPE Wellness –Giving Attention Where Attention Is Due

What does hands on healing and being heard and understood have in common? Giving HOPE Wellness and Medicine Woman Brenda Bates believes in order for one to receiving healing one must be listened to first. It takes time to get the results one is looking for.

(Vocus/PRWEB ) May 22, 2009 -- Here’s a typical situation: a person has to seek medical treatment for an illness or trauma. What will this person experience when visiting the doctor’s office? According to Francis Collins, director of the National Human Genome Research Institute, the average length of a doctor's visit is now less than 20 minutes…which is too short to interview a patient, record three generations of medical history, assess disease risks and chart courses of action. A person ends up frustrated and ignored, which is not a good way to help the body heal. The bottom line is that a person needs time when visiting their physician, but that is not what usually happens and ultimately illnesses persist and can remain undiagnosed or misdiagnosed. The person’s body pays the price and suffering continues. This situation has become the norm and people resist medical treatment because of the negative situations to which they’ve become accustomed.

Giving HOPE is the answer. When a person visits Medicine Woman, Brenda Bates for a hands-on-healing session, they are the primary focus and she listens to her clients. A person will be able to explain their family history, their current issue and are the center of attention. The first step in the healing process is to feel heard and understood. This is just the beginning of what Bates offers her clients. By listening to a person, Bates understands what the client needs for a hands-on-healing session.

When energy is directed into the body, it affects matter on a subatomic or quantum level and works its way up through the cells, nerves and muscle tissue of the body. The innate body intelligence does the work. Example: Practitioners do not have to know where bones need to move, any more than we need to understand how our stomach digests food. The person's innate body intelligence directs the healing. Trust the process and the body will do what it needs to heal the surface. During the release the process that one may have pain or emotions might come to the surface. It is important to trust it all because it is all part of the releasing process. This is different than visiting a doctor’s office because Bates allows the body to release a lifetime of collected issues.

As a society, one becomes trained to visit the doctor for one illness at a time; however these issues are usually connected beneath the surface. One becomes trapped in thinking that one visit will do. It takes time and patients to get the results one is looking for in this microwave society. Alternative medicine, holistic medicine or energy medicine are all great and can help in a big way but don’t fall victim to the belief that if the miracle doesn’t happen the first time that one should give up.
