London Continues to be a Magnet for Ambitious and Talented People From All Over the Globe

The growing professional international workforce that now resides in London need to speak and use English confidently and competently to quite a high level. This need to learn English is usually quite specific and usually related to work or study purposes. To meet this demand SGI has a range of specialist evening language courses that have proved to be astonishingly successful.

London, UK (PRWEB) May 21, 2009 -- Max Loach, School Director of British Council accredited Saint George International (SGI) discusses the SGI Specialist Evening courses and how increasing numbers of non-native speakers in London are seeking these small group high quality English courses.

"Since 1962 students from all over the world have been learning languages with us here at Saint George International (SGI) London and these specialist Evening courses are a recent and exciting new addition to the range of courses we can offer the public. These language courses are a response to a public demand for small group very focused English courses primarily for work or study purposes. We have been amazed at the response since we introduced them"

Saint George International: A great range of English Evening courses in Central London

" Courses for Business English and IELTS and Cambridge FCE have proven to be the most popular evening courses with courses nearly always full "explains Tommi Muttonen, Head of Business Development at Saint George International. " We also have courses for Pronunciation and Academic Writing with more courses to be introduced before the end of the year."

Max Loach explains that the introduction of the SGI Specialist Evening courses started in earnest in April 2008, with the launching of the first Business English course, with IELTS and FCE courses soon following.

Max is enthusiastic about the future. " There is no reason why we can't expand our evening courses rapidly over the next couple of years, the demand is definitely there." He cites location as being another key factor alongside the small group sizes and specialist nature of the courses. " I think our Central London location, 3 minutes from Oxford Circus, makes courses here very attractive to people working in the West End or the City. Despite the recession, the area is still a dynamic hub of work related activity. "

All SGI Specialist Evening courses are with experienced qualified native speaker teachers and the maximum class size is usually six. Courses are either once or twice a week.
