Carolina Beach's Boardwalk Brings Back The Good Ole Days Of Summer With Some New Attractions
Carolina Beach, N.C. (PRWEB) May 21, 2009 -- The boardwalk at Carolina Beach, N.C. has added several new attractions for summer 2009, making it the place to be for days and nights of sun and affordable family fun. Seaside amusements, live bands, fireworks, quaint shops, restaurants, and the beach are all within walking distance of the boardwalk.
Carolina Beach's boardwalk will be the new headquarters for everything from arcade games and homemade treats to surrey bike rentals and shopping. Starting Memorial Day, seaside amusements, including a Ferris wheel and popular rides like the Scrambler, Tilt-a-whirl and Hang Ten will be just steps from the boardwalk. Every Thursday, enjoy live music from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Gazebo Stage located on Cape Fear Boulevard near the Boardwalk with a fireworks display immediately following on the beach. On Sundays, just a short distance away at Carolina Beach Lake Park, free, family-friendly first-run movies will be shown at dusk and include such favorites as Madagascar II, Monsters vs Aliens, and Night at the Museum II.
