Dewan W. Gibson, Author of "The Imperfect Enjoyment," Brings Awareness to the (Un)Importance of Race

Gibson is sponsoring an auction on eBay to promote discussion of changing racial dynamics. Gibson sarcastically writes, "Did you feel a bit left out at President Obama's inauguration? The Irc Books author goes on to say he wants to call attention to the "misguided importance placed on one's pigmentation." Gibsons says, "I firmly believe that future generations will be unable to fathom how racial disparities and separation continued to exist well after the Civil Rights Movement. People of all races should be held accountable…my advice is to date someone of a different race. The old saying is very profound: 'we are all the same color when the lights go out.'"
