ClearStar Logistics Hires Derek Hinton as VP of Compliance
Back Office Solution Provider for the employment and tenant screening industry hires first member of senior management team.
Cumming, GA (PRWEB) May 22, 2009 -- ClearStar Logistics, a back office solution provider for the employment and tenant screening industry, announced today that Derek D. Hinton has been hired as VP of Compliance and Special Projects. As such, Hinton becomes ClearStar Logistics' first senior management hire.
In his new position, Hinton will be focusing primarily on the publication of industry compliance information and implementing operational best practices.
"As we formally open the doors for this new line of business, there is considerable groundwork to be laid defining our product offerings as well as setting client expectations around this new back office service offering," said R.J. Vale, CEO of ClearStar Logistics. "It was essential that we employ an industry veteran with Derek's level of insight to help set the direction for this new venture."
Best known as author of The Criminal Records Book and The Criminal Records Manual, Hinton continues to write monthly columns for Driving Force Magazine and The Trucker. He has made multiple appearances on XM and SIRIUS Satellite Radio and delivers speeches regularly on employment screening, security and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act to organizations ranging from the American Trucking Association to the American Bar Association.
