Gallery Five Expands into the Blogosphere

Since 1982, Gallery Five has been tempting Florida's wearable art collectors with an ever-expanding selection of beautifully crafted textiles and jewelry. Eleven years ago, Gallery Five first launched their store online, and recently they have added an exciting new blog.

Tequesta, FL (PRWEB) May 22, 2009 -- Gallery Five is a well established mega-boutique/emporium located in Tequesta, Fla. The store specializes in wearable art, focusing on high quality clothing, designer jewelry, and accessories, all handcrafted by American artists. Gallery Five's physical plant has grown significantly, necessitating three relocations and expansions to accommodate its discriminating clientele and a growing roster of extraordinary artists.

"This is something that we've enjoyed from the beginning," said Paula Coben, who owns the store with her husband, Paul.

A bit of a local secret since 1982, the business made its first foray onto the internet over ten years ago with its eponymous website, www.GalleryFive.com.

As prospective site-surfers browse the user-friendly site, they begin to appreciate the depth and breadth of this cyber-gallery of American fine crafts and beautifully made textiles. The gallery continues to find a larger and geographically diverse audience of appreciative buyers and browsers on the internet. The website has developed over the years; the site is constantly redesigned and updated.

"Everything on the site is in the store, but obviously we're able to offer much more at our physical location than we can show online," said Paul.

Recently, the Gallery has added a new feature to their online presence: www.GalleryFiveBlog.com, a blog celebrating and exploring the benefits and techniques of handmade crafts. "The blog is a great way for us to share Gallery Five news about new items and artists in a fast and streamlined way," explained Paula.

As Gallery Five showcases independent artisans from all over the country who enjoy the exposure and recognition of a wide audience, the store has gained attention as well. In 2005, "American Style Magazine" named Gallery Five one of their "Top 100 Craft Galleries in the Nation," an honor that the Cobens take very seriously. Continuing this tradition of excellence, Gallery Five online offers personal service to satisfy even the most demanding shopper. Wearable art looks beautiful online, but no buyer can fully appreciate wearable art until they're wearing it.
