Bill Hargreaves named publisher of the WAVE Magazine on Wednesday
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) May 21, 2009 -- On May 21, 2009, The Wave Media, Inc., named Bill Hargreaves as its new publisher effective May 20, 2009. The Wave Media is the parent company of The Wave Magazine and TheWaveMag.com, an entertainment and lifestyle publication in Silicon Valley.
"Bill Hargreaves has a passion and knowledge for Silicon Valley like few others I've seen," says founder Chris Rhoads. "He is known by the local business community for being personable and a reliable resource. He has been instrumental in the success of The Wave Magazine and we are fortunate to have someone of his caliber take the reins of our publication during this exciting time."
Hargreaves joined The Wave Magazine in 2001, the same year the magazine was launched. His previous positions included Director of Business Development and most recently Vice President of Sales prior to being named Publisher.
Hargreaves will succeed publisher and founder Peter Brafford, who will remain on the board of directors as President.
