Mentor Museum of Speed Set for Free Grand Opening Celebration on May 30 and 31, 2009

Weekend's Activities to Include Open House, Car Show and Free Museum Admission

Mentor, OH (PRWEB) May 22, 2009 -- The Mentor Museum of Speed presented by Best of Show Automotive will celebrate its Grand Opening in Mentor, Ohio on May 30. Grand Opening festivities will kick-off with free museum access beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday and will culminate with the 3rd Annual Best of Show Automotive Car Show and Cruise on Sunday, May 31.

Located at 7700 Tyler Boulevard in Mentor Ohio, the museum has over 125 cars on display, translating to over 10 million dollars of collector car inventory. The museum's 60,000 square foot facility is an exciting new organization to the region -- unlike anything else in the country. The Museum displays high performance muscle cars, hot rods, customs and restorations. Many of the cars shown are historically significant, World-class, meticulously restored vehicles and award-winning autos. The museum is also a celebration of automotive heritage with an old-fashioned free game arcade. Visitors will experience an automotive setting that is sure to please even the most discriminating car enthusiast. The Museum's Open House Saturday's hours will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The next day, Sunday, May 31, 2009, the Mentor Museum of Speed will host the 3rd Annual Best Of Show Car Show and Cruise. The show, already a regional favorite, will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and offers music, raffles, free food and giveaways. It's an open car show with free admission for everyone and is Best of Show Automotive's way of thanking their classic car friends and the community for their support. Over 200 vehicles were on hand for last year's event and more are expected this year.
