This invention is patented.
The "Flood and Fire Sand Truck" would expedite the process of filling sandbags, and could enable users to fill, store and transport a large number of sandbags at one time. The invention could help to prevent further damage to emergency areas that are in need due to flooding The hoses and nozzles could also be used on fires, as they are able to be filled with sand or other powders to help put out fires. This could be used in occurrences such as house fires, building fires, wild fires, forest fires or gasoline fires.
The system would consist of a truck equipped with a sand loader vehicle, and a truck equipped with a diesel generator, a conveyer belt trailer, sand hoppers, a holding tank and sand blowers with hoses and nozzles. The sand loader truck would fill the sand hoppers located at the top of the trailer. The trailer is attached to the generator, so the sand travels through the hoppers and would be stored in a sand holding tank below. Beneath the tank would be three sand blowers with connected hoses. At the end of each hose is a control nozzle, and the nozzle fills the sandbags that would be arranged on the conveyer belt of the accompanying vehicle. Once the bags are filled, they would be closed with hand-held stitching machines and loaded onto pallets to be transported or stored.
