DIY Security Products is an independent business that hopes to curb these fears by providing non-lethal safety devices. Recently, the company started a new safety blog.

"We live in doubtful times in terms of safety and security," said Carol Chupp, the founder of the website. "This is the best time for us to contribute something to society in which we could help people."
DIY Security Products launched in January 2009 and it has since cultivated a respectable catalog of various safety products such as stun guns, child safety alarms and survival kits, among other items.
Though the site is less than six months old, Chupp is already looking to grow her site further with new products including surveillance cameras and providing additional resources regarding personal safety and home security information. And she's not stopping there either.
"We will be adding survival kits for college students and people who travel for business," she explained. "And that's what we have lined up right now. We will continue to expand as we go along."
Alongside the upcoming planned product lines, Chupp has also added a new blog (www.DIYSecurityProductsInfo.com) which brings into fruition her desire to provide as much safety information as possible.
"We're covering ways that people can stay safe and how to properly be prepared for any emergency. We want to alert people of any scams and give them tips on how to avoid them," she said.
The scam alert is another feature that Chupp hopes to add to her e-store in the near future.
As the site continues on its upward growth, DIYSecurityProducts.com will no doubt become the premiere place where people can log onto and find the products that will help them feel safer in the uncertain world that surrounds them.
