Redemption Boulevard is Focusing Their Efforts to Develop High School Church Bands

Redemption Boulevard, a nonprofit Christian ministry based out of Saint Paul/Minneapolis area in Minnesota, is seeking to work with high school church bands. There is a tremendous need in small churches to get kids involved in church life. However, with limited budgets, many churches can't afford to pay someone to be on staff. This leaves many high school church bands, also called worship teams, without proper guidance on how to grow their skills.

Oakdale, MN (PRWEB) May 24, 2009 -- Redemption Boulevard, a nonprofit Christian ministry based out of Saint Paul/Minneapolis area in Minnesota, is seeking to work with high school church bands. There is a tremendous need in small churches to get kids involved in church life. However, with limited budgets, many churches can't afford to pay someone to be on staff. This leaves many high school church bands, also called worship teams, without proper guidance on how to grow their skills.

Many Christians have a hard time knowing how to get involved in their church and be active participants. By starting kids early, in high school, worship teams can be given the tools they need to continually serve their church throughout their lives. Providing training early on in life will help these musicians become effective worship leaders and worship team members. All in all this is a great way to teach them how stay consistently involved in church life.

Peter Park, Founder of Redemption Boulevard, says, "When I was growing up we didn't have anybody to teach us how to be effective worship leaders/musicians. We had to rely on our friends from different churches, many of whom were our age, to grow our skills as musicians and leaders. That meant a lot of trial and error."

Redemption Boulevard is in the beginning stages of this project and is looking for monthly donators at this time. Peter Park, Founder of Redemption Boulevard, says, "We don't want money to be an issue when we're helping small churches. They are already having a tough time making ends meet in this economy. That's why we are asking people to become a partner and donate $5 a month. A little effort from everyone will further God's kingdom."
