Own the View of Hanalei Bay on the Island of Kaua'i, Named Number One Beach 2009!

The most sought after view on Kauai's North Shore. Exquisite newly constructed contemporary home by award winning designer, Gary Tobey, creates an environment which combines the outdoors and living areas. Executed to perfection, this jewel is surrounded by waterfalls of the Hanalei Mountains, rainbows, and surf of Hanalei Bay, culminating at Bali Hai.

Hanalei, Hawai'i (PRWEB) May 25, 2009 -- Own the view! Design, attention to detail and of course one of the world's most spectacular views make this home, with it's indoor outdoor feel, ideal for relaxing on the north shore of Kaua'i. Quality custom granite in all bathrooms including a 17 foot kitchen entertainment counter and rare exotic hardwood cabinetry and vaulted ceilings add to the grandeur and simplicity that make this home one of Hawai'i's best.

Built of concrete, steel, and floor to ceiling hurricane rated glass panel walls that open to make the dream of tropical living a reality, "Summer Break" sits high upon a bluff overlooking Hanalei Bay.

According to MSN, Coastal expert Dr. Stephen P. Leatherman, director of Florida International University's Laboratory for Coastal Research and known as "Dr. Beach," announced his 19th annual Top 10 Beaches list on May 22. He has compiled the list annually since 1991 using 50 criteria, including water quality and temperature, cleanliness, weather, sand, safety and facilities.

Number one for 2009 is Hanalei Bay Beach, Kauai, Hawaii: This spectacular white crescent-shaped sand beach is considered by many to be the most beautiful beach setting in Hawaii. The two-mile-long strand is lined by palm trees, with a backdrop of waterfalls and mountain peaks that range up to 4,000 feet high. One of the best views of the beach is from the Princeville Hotel, located on the high bluff to the east. The other end of this wide coral sand beach is anchored by a high lava point that extends into the ocean, a panorama that has been the inspiration for many paintings and photo shoots.
