Outright.com announces today that Paul O'Brien has joined as Vice President of Marketing. O'Brien, recently a Vice President for local search engine Zvents, will lead the company's marketing and consumer outreach efforts. Outright.com is the free bookkeeping site designed specifically for the self-employed, which includes nearly 20 million Americans who work for themselves.

O'Brien, a distinguished marketing, search, internet, and eCommerce executive, brings over 15 years of marketing experience to Outright.com. He has demonstrated success in his past online commerce, advertising, search (optimization and marketing), and business roles. O'Brien was formerly head of interactive marketing for Hewlett Packard's direct to consumer business and spent 5 years with Yahoo!'s Advertising Solutions group. Recognized for his achievements, he is a featured profile in Wiley Publishing's book Online Marketing Heroes.
He most recently comes from Zvents.com, a local search engine, as Vice President of Marketing where he drove exponential consumer and partner network growth. While there, he worked through two rounds of financing, including a significant investment from Nokia and AT&T.
