NuUnion Credit Union recently welcomed Kelly Armbruster as Branch Manager of its two Mt. Pleasant locations at 1011 N. Harris and 209 E. Bellows in the SBX store. Longtime branch manager, Lori Trainor, was promoted to the position of Regional Vice President, assuming responsibility for six NuUnion branches including the two in Mt. Pleasant, Jenison, Grand Haven, Holland and Hastings.

“Kelly’s extensive experience in so many areas of financial services and community involvement will enable her to continue the tradition of warm and personalized service we’ve delivered over the past 40 years,” said Trainor. “We’re very glad to have Kelly as part of the NuUnion family and I know she’ll be an asset to the Mt. Pleasant community.”

NuUnion would like to invite the community to an open house to celebrate Kelly’s arrival and Lori’s promotion on Friday, June 19th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the 1011 N. Harris Street location.

Armbruster brings over 12 years of experience in the financial industry to her new position, including the past eight as AVP/Branch Manager. She has extensive experience in consumer and commercial lending, security and compliance, as well as business development.

As branch manager, Armbruster’s focus will include working with small business owners and continuing the branch’s reputation for friendly, personalized service. “The Mt. Pleasant community has been so warm and welcoming, I already feel at home. I’m looking forward to understanding the financial needs of the community and building a strong network of friends and business partners,” commented Armbruster.

Armbruster’s leadership involvement in the Gladwin Kiwanis Club, board positions on the Gladwin Business Professional Association and United Way, reveals her commitment as an active community partner. “I’ve always placed a high priority on giving back. And NuUnion’s philosophy of supporting the areas it serves and mine are a perfect fit,” Armbruster said.

As Regional Vice President, Trainor will supervise Armbruster and the other branch managers in her new region. “I’m very positive about NuUnion’s future and I’m excited to be a part of it,” said Trainor. “Although I’ll be traveling a wider area, Mt. Pleasant is still my home and I’ll remain a part of the community,” she continued. “It’s the best of both worlds!”
