Nos Caves Vin Previewing Select Oregon Wines at Strip House on June 19th
Get a taste of exclusive Oregon vineyard wines at five course pairing dinner
Houston, TX (PRWEB) May 31, 2009 -- Nos Caves Vin, Houston's premier wine storage facility, is hosting their debut wine pairing dinner at the Strip House (1200 McKinney Street) on June 19, 2009. Each of the five courses will be paired with wines selected personally by Brent Sloan, Nos Caves Vin's Wine Director, from exclusive Oregon vineyards. The dinner is limited to thirty guests. Strip House's Chef Steven Vanderpool and Sloan were college roommates at the New England Culinary Institute. "The collaboration on the menu and wines has been a lot of fun for us both," said Sloan. "Our passion has taken us down different paths that have culminated in one of the most wonderful events I've had a chance to put together!"
Sloan will be pairing wines from such amazing vineyards as Carlton Cellars and Argyle to go with the Strip House's sophisticated offerings and sultry ambience. Carlton Cellars--an award-winning, artisanal, Willamette Valley winery--is known for their outstanding Pinot Noirs. And Argyle's three vineyards and winery produce wines consistently rank in Wine Spectator's prestigious Top 100 Wines of the World.
